Welcome to FC Friday, where we take soccer video games way too seriously and your internet connection doesn't matter. If you've ever spent your Friday night shouting at a screen alone in your basement while a 12-year-old in a different timezone 'griddies' on you, we have some good news. There’s a better way.

No Goals? No Points. Period.

Finally, let's talk about the league table. We do things differently here. Specifically, we have a little policy called "No Goals No Points."

In the 'normal' world, a 0-0 draw is seen as a hard-fought tie where both teams get a point. At FC Friday, a 0-0 game isn’t a tie—it’s just pathetic. If you can’t find the back of the net in 90 minutes, neither of you deserves a thing. In our standings, 0-0 means 0 points for everyone involved. We reward excitement, not boredom.

Curious about how the rest of the league works? Check back soon for the full breakdown. Trust us, your friends are going to love this (unless they play for a 0-0 draw, in which case, maybe find new friends).

Why play in person? Because you can’t look your opponent in the eye and see their soul leave their body after a 90th-minute winner over the internet. Playing FC Friday is about the atmosphere. It’s about the high-fives, the snacks, and the immediate, face-to-face banter that makes gaming actually fun again. Our special tournament rules and structure aren't just there for balance—they’re designed to make you actually want to leave your house.

From Living Rooms to Big Screens

We’re taking the game out of the shadows and putting it where it belongs: on big screens with even bigger crowds. Imagine playing your best match while thirty people cheer (or jeer) behind you. That’s the kind of energy we bring. We’re constantly cooking up new ways to play, so you’ll want to keep checking back here for updates on our next gathering.
